India vs Pakistan cricket match score highlights

There is not doubt about it. Pakistani team as a whole including its bowlers played like a club level team and they were faced with world’s top team. So there was simply no competition. Pakistani team has become the whipping boy of the world cricket today. Under Misbahul Haq the team is going down and down and its batting has gone down so badly, that there doesn’t seem to be any good batman who can be depended upon by team. Though Misbah scores runs occasionally, but he has been so uninspiring and is so slow that actually there is no benefit of his runs for his team. And to be true, unlike Indian team that has got great young players in the last two, three years, the same cannot be said of the Pakistani team. Though they have young players, but they don’t really have motivation to do well in the international level tournaments. The Pakistani team flopped in all parts of the game, be it batting, bowling and fielding. On the contrary, another team from the subcontinent, India, has gone to excel even in an unlikely filed of fielding too. Indian players have become excellent fielders too and their batsmen and bowlers are doing exceptionally well. This is the first time that Pakistan have gone out of the Champions Trophy without actually wining a single game. Pakistani team struggled to score just 165 runs in 40 overs. The batsmen flopped and no one was able to score even a fifty. Asad Shafiq was the highest scorer who could harldy score 41 runs. Indian batting led by Dhawan once again excelled and reached the target within just 19 overs. This is one of the worst performances of Pakistani team in any international event of such high level where they didn’t register a single victory.
